Hope Bay, nunavut
Over the course of 3 weeks, a small point was blasted flat for the foundation of a water treatment plant to be poured shortly after. Each blast was controlled by matting and monitored by a seismograph as a frozen dam was located nearby.
Dubreuilville, Ontario
Alongside multiple other contractors, the construction of Argonaut Gold required both controlled matted blasts, pre-shear blasts, and production blasts for material
poplar river, Manitoba
A new school project as well as a water treatment plant was being built in the small community of poplar river. Blasting was required for the perimeter of the school as well as the roadway. Blasting was also required in the ditches along the road for the water treatment plant.
Stewart, British Columbia
North of Stewart, BC at the Premier Gold Mine, A sharp switchback was required to be widened out in order for large shipments to be able to be hauled up to the mill. An access road around a nearby mountain was also blasted into place to allow for much easier access to the top.
Pine Falls, Manitoba
Roughly 90km north of Pine Falls on dirt road towards the Bloodvein reservation, a small section of the road was being widened and required both quarry blasting for material, as well as controlled matted blasting along the sides of the road.
